An older Armspear lantern frame with a twist off base and 1897 patent. The lid is stamped P&R RR for the Philadelphia & Reading Railroad. which is an older marking. The globe is cast P&R Ry with no panel. It also has an extended base with fancy lettering. There is a tone to eh lantern that is not straight tin. It might have been painted and stripped.
