Description
AMERICAN ROCKINGHAM GLAZE POTTERY TOBY PITCHERS, LOT OF FOUR, mottled brown glaze, comprising one full-bodied covered example depicting a standing woman holding a bottle in left hand, possibly portraying Martha Gunn, one example having molded face below spout, and two standard Bennington attributed examples with kick-up bases. Second half 19th century. 8 1/4" HOA.

Condition
One undamaged; one standard example with minor flake to tip of handle and remaining having restoration to spout; woman example having loss of item in right hand, a hairline crack encircling handle, and minor restoration to flake or chip on cover underside.
