Description
Native American, Four Corners area, Anasazi, ca. 1050 to 1200 CE. Striking pottery pitcher decorated with four registers of very fine geometric patterns including step and spiral motifs, all in beautifully contrasting black and white. With bulbous base, straight neck and petite strap handle, also decorated with geometrics. Nice example! Size: 6-1/2"W (16.5 cm) x 5-3/4"H (14.6 cm).
Provenance: Ex-Los Angeles, CA collection, acquired on private Colorado ranch in the 1970s.
