Lot of (2) Carousels of Extachrome Photo Slides-People of Interest, Disney Films Taken by Ohio Radio Host Larry Oatman W/Letter of Provenance, Some Publishing Rights - This is a collection of two carousels of Extachrome photo slides taken by late Ohio radio host and local news contributor, Larry L. Oatman. The lot includes 175 slides of photographs taken by Oatman of various people of interest and Disney films. The lot includes (45) slides of notable figures and various events such as political events and NASA. These photos include an Ohio event with President Jimmy Carter, and astronaut John Glenn. The lot also includes (130) slides of various Disney films. This will truly be a treasure hunt. Larry Oatman started his career as a radio announcer and DJ, eventually allowing him to work for multiple radio stations in Ohio. Oatman was also a contributor to the local news station and worked for the local Fox/NBC news affiliate WLIO. Photography looked to be his passion, and he had many opportunities to capture hundreds of photos of various events throughout his long career. These slides were acquired from Larry Oatman's estate and include a letter of provenance. The lot includes publishing rights for the (45) slides of original photos taken of people/events of interest.
