REMBRANDT VAN RIJN (Dutch 1606-1669) A PRINT, "Jan Uytenbogaert, The Gold Weigher," 1639, etching and drypoint on thin paper, an 18th century impression of New Hollstein's third and final state with Captain Baillie's rework, Bartsch 281, Holland 281, New Hollstein 172, Hind 167; sheet 9 1/2" x 8", framed 21 1/2" x 18 1/2".
Condition
A clean impression with drypoint in the fur. The sheet is slightly toned and has likely been professionally conserved. Floated against a back mat and framed under UV glass. Not examined out of the frame.
