Nien Cheng 念鄭 or Zheng Nian 鄭念 (January 28, 1915 - November 2, 2009) was the pen name of Yao Nien-Yuan (姚念媛). She was a Chinese author known for recounting her experiences during the Cultural Revolution in her memoir Life and Death in Shanghai.

ARTIST BIO: Chen Dazhang 陈大章 (September 1930 - March 30, 2015) was born in a family of calligraphers and painters in Beijing. He has loved painting since he was a child. In the early days of his traditional Chinese painting creation, he focused on figures, and later became world-famous for his paintings of landscapes, pine, bamboo, and plum blossoms. Many of his works have been collected by the Chinese History Museum, the Chinese Military Museum, the Nagasaki Museum of Modern Art in Japan, and the Moquan Museum in Toronto, Canada. National gifts were given to heads of state such as Germany, Canada, Thailand, Italy, and South Korea. He serves as a member of the Chinese Artists Association[8], a director of the Arts and Crafts Society, a director of the Chinese Celebrities Association, a director of the Association for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification of China, the president of the Beijing Cross-Strait Calligraphers and Painters Association, the president of the Old Artists Calligraphy and Painting Society of the Ministry of Culture, and the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Correspondence University. Professor, senior consultant of Beijing Tangfeng Art Museum, special artist, etc.
