[SPAULDING & MERRICK]. Group of 14 “Plow Boy” Photographic Cards of Pin-Ups. [Chicago: Spaulding & Merrick, ca. 1890s]. Black and white photographic cards with Victorian era women in scanty costumes, with advertiser’s text on versos (“A Watch Free” contest). 14 cards out of a series of 24. Approximately 2 ¾ x 1 ?”. Generally toned, worn, foxed, most with text on verso scuffed. Still, a very good group of these uncommon cards. The women featured include: Miss Connaugh, Cora Davis, Corinne, Polly Winner, Irene Winner, Carrie Andrews, Ruth Stetson (2 different cards), Jarbeau, Helen Harrington, Nellie Langton, T. de Gillert, Ida Siddons, Annie Winner.
