Item Details

Description

For your consideration is this 1940s metal sign reading, "Protected by The Farmer's Guide Detective Service". This sign would have been posted on a house or business to deter thieves from stealing from them. The sign shows a blue shield shape with white lettering reading, "Protected by The Farmer's Guide Detective Service". The bottom right reads, "Made in U.S.A. American Ca..." in small blue lettering. The sign shows consistent wear from its vintage age with missing paint and rusting present. There are six punched holes from when it was mounted. The sign measures 6 7/8" L x 9 3/4" W.
