Vintage 1960s Star of Bethlehem Quilt, but has some much earlier fabrics. It measures 85x88". I believe the solid burgundy and solid green fabrics are poly cotton blends, and the batting is a polyester. The red print backing is from the first half of the 20th century, an Ely and Walker print that was reproduced several times. The double blue or Lancaster blue print background is older, and really makes the star pop. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. In good condition with some small spots and fade line discoloration. This quilt is from the estate of Sharon Stark, noted Pennsylvania textile dealer and award winning author.
