Black is Beautiful. N.p.: n.p., ca late 1960s-early 1970s. 21 1/2 x 28 in. printed poster (light toning to edges, light edge wear). Three uniformed Black Panthers are featured standing on the steps of the Alameda County Court House, where Black Panther Minister of Defense Huey P. Newton stood trial from June to September 1968. After an image taken by Pirkle Jones on 30 July during a demonstration in support of Newton.
