Description
James F. Hutchinson (American, 1932-2023). An original oil painting on canvas. An Old Florida style wetlands featuring a central flowering jacaranda tree with a profusion of purple blossoms, surrounded by water and additional naturalistic elements. Artist signed and dated 1989 to lower right. The artist was a follower of and brother in law to the Florida Highwayman Albert E. "Beanie" Backus. Presented with a fabric fillet border in a carved wood gallery frame. Provenance; a private collection.
Work Size: 24 x 30 in.
Dimensions: 32 X 38 X 2 in.
Condition: Good overall condition having normal to mild age related surface wear. Frame having mild to moderate storage wear to edges and corners. Estate fresh to the market.
