A grouping of paper goods including: 2 decks of vintage playing cards in original boxes, Berkshires road map 1918, booklet "Berkshire Historical and Scientific Society" 1894, Souvenir booklet Pittsfield Mass. And the Berkshire Mtns 1908, The Pillsbury Cook-Book 1914, booklet Souvenir Views of Richmond Virginia - early 20th century, a 1945 letter from Santa Claus to Mrs. Sudler regarding her daughter Gail's (future wife of Tom Rockwell) request for items to give to her mother, an autograph book "The Guest Book" dated 1885, Egypt travel magazines 1956 plus Egyptian travel brochures, steamship menus from the Italian Line 1959, a 1959 Chevy station wagon brochure, Hagstrom's map "How to Get In and Out of New York By Automobile" 1931, book titled "Suffolk County's Ten Great Townships of Long Island" not dated but circa 1940-50, etc. Provenance: From the Thomas & Gail Rockwell collection, LaGrangeville NY. Tom is the son of the renowned American artist, Norman Rockwell and the author or many children's books. His late wife Gail, was an artist-illustrator and the daughter of Arthur E. Sudler and Janet Whitson Sudler, both early 20th century artists - she illustrated several of her husband's children's books.
