Description
A pair of brass and iron Arts & Crafts period table lamps with mica shades, circa 1930-40. Both in good condition. The shades measure 4 1/4"H x 7" diameter and the lamps measure 15"H x 5 3/4" diameter at base. Please note that the lamp with the replaced white wire and without the pull-down on/off chain, was put back together incorrectly, and while completely functional, does not match the base of the original lamp. See photos for more details. Provenance: From the Thomas & Gail Rockwell collection, LaGrangeville NY. Tom is the son of the renowned American artist, Norman Rockwell and the author or many children's books. His late wife Gail, was an artist-illustrator and the daughter of Arthur E. Sudler and Janet Whitson Sudler, both early 20th century artists - she illustrated several of her husband's children's books.
