Giovanni Viafora (New York 1870 - 1930) Caricature in Pen and Ink with watercolor, paper mounted on board with gilt details, Violinist, possibly Efrem Zimbalist?, signed lower left, unframed. .5lb Viafora also created a series of prints featuring musicians, composers and conductors called the "Musical America's Gallery of Celebrities." These prints were usually small, measuring between 5 and 7 inches high. They were not postcards, and this series of trade prints were published after the Viafora postcards sometime in the late 1910s and early 1920s Approx.
