2-pc cream open warp striped silk blend overprinted w/ rose motif, grey-green twill silk edging to neckline, sleeve, cuff, peplum & as belt w/ covered buckle, chemical lace ruffle collar & neck insert, tiered skirt w/ self-ruffle, c. 1908, B 40”, L 22”, skirt W 28”, L 42”, (print & trim faded, spot stains tiny-0.75”, few pulls up to 3”, some shatter & fray to trim esp. CF belt) good; 1 dusty blue linen traveling dress w/ slubbed raw silk neck insert, shaped cuff, decorative buttons & W band center, self-covered decorative buttons, c. 1912, B 34”, W 24”, L 55”, (minor fade across bodice, light banded discoloration lower skirt, light staining up to 3” at hem, some wear/loose stitching on buttons) very good. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum to benefit collections care, preservation and future acquisitions.
