3-pc Spanish American War blue wool broadcloth uniform c/o cape lined w/ CF button closures & convertible collar w/ wool, faux double breasted coat w/ great American seal buttons, hook & eye to turn-back front of skirt, lined w/ wool twill, trousers w/ composition buttons, c. 1898, worn by George I. Atkins in Cuba, cape SH-SH 18”, L 25”, coat SH-SH 18”, CH 40”, L 45”, trousers W 28”, Inseam 30”, L 42”, (light stains under 1”, light discoloration around collar, few small holes in cape lining, few tiny holes & 0.25” snacks in coat, 1” & 0.75” holes in trouser seat, many tiny-0.25” holes in trousers, few replaced or damaged buttons on trousers & few small repairs) cape & coat good, trousers fair.
