Two (2) Chinese Rose Famille Porcelain Figures of Immortals
Location of Manufacture: China
Period of Manufacture: Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Early Republic Period (1912-1949)
Dimensions: 13"(h) (without stand) & 8"(h)
Weight of Items: 3 pounds, 1 ounce
For your consideration are (2) antique Chinese famille rose porcelain figures of immortals. The first, and largest, statue's robe is intricately decorated and adorned with several auspicious symbols. The figure includes a fitted hardwood stand which we believe to be a post-production addition. The second, and smaller, figure is standing amongst stylized clouds and is wearing a beautiful robe adorned on its backside with a 'taijitu' (yin-yang) symbol representing a supreme and ultimate state of undifferentiated absolute and infinite potential, the oneness before duality. This figure is holding a 'pearl of wisdom' in his hand and is marked with an impressed 4-character mark and "China" mark.

Condition
Please use all images as addendum to condition statement. Items are in excellent condition with the larger figure having no damage, breaks, chips, heavy wear or noted repair. The smaller figure looks to have very minor damage to a few of his finger tips - damage which is not overly distracting.
