An interesting group of dozens of early photographs of sites throughout the Land of Israel during the Mandatory period, circa 1920s-30s, some bearing an inscription on the reverse side from a trip conducted throughout the Land of Israel from 1938, some bearing the photographer's stamp "The Matson Photo Service Jerusalem, Palestine", including photographs of sites in Jerusalem, the Jordan River, photographs of figures from the Land of Israel: members of minorities: Arabs, Bedouins, as well as photographs with British soldiers, and more, in various formats, the larger ones in the 6.5X9.5 cm format. In overall good plus condition: slight wear to some.
