Woodrow Wilson (December 28, 1856-February 3, 1924), typed 2 page letter on stationary dated November 15, 1913, in bright blue ink with a dark brown bold signature, mentioning how thankful Wilson is for the letter from George (Howe), saying "I wish I could write you a real letter, but you know that whether this is a real letter or not, it is a real message of affection, please do not think of sending me those bonds, I had been happy to forget that little obligation long ago. Affectionately yours, Woodrow Wilson. Also includes a signed letter and envelope from John Randolf Bolling to Mr. H.E. Luhrs (A noted collector of autographs and manuscripts) dated September 23, 1933, stating that he could not get the autograph for him. Finally, yet another envelope cover dated November 9, 1928, to Mr. Luhrs with Edith Bolling Wilson?s signature mounted on a stock type card and installed in a homemade scrapbook page.
Condition
The Wilson letter is bright and clean with only some pencil at the bottom left corner. The Randolf letter has been folded to fit an envelope and quite clean. The Edith Bolling Wilson signature is on a thin card and mounted by its corners in a
