Portrait shows a modest woman with a white lace head piece. Canvas measures 48" H x 36" W and has a label saying it was relined on linen and more in 1961 by Byecroft Studios. The ornately carved gold gilt frame has wood loss at the corners as shown. Painting has paint flaking primarily in the center black region, but also extending down towards the corners.
