DST. Sign shows "Patented Oct 12, 1915". A rare and early oversized Tin Flange Sign for Red Crown Gasoline showing large Crown graphic with early burst style. CONDITION: Sign is overall rough with heavy wear and paint loss throughout each side. Side one shows areas of repaint in the white with significant scratching and wear while side two shows a complete loss of color with heavy rusting throughout. Although the piece is worn it is very scarce and has an excellent patina perfect for an outdoor patina display. Condition: (Poor). Dimensions: 26" X 25".
