DST. Incredibly scarce CA. 1920's Tin Sign for Polly Gasoline showing a large gas pricer portion at the bottom with a large Parrot Graphic & Polly script at the top of each side. CONDITION: Side one is overall very clean showing a beautiful as well as colorful graphic with clean script. Side one shows excellent age & crackling in the paint with only one minor area of paint loss at the "Y" of Polly. The lower field shows some light scratching but overall side one displays very well. Side two also presents very well showing its large and colorful graphic with Polly Gasoline script. Side two shows minor paint loss at the "PO" of Polly as well as some light BB type dents scattered in the lower field. Side two shows some minimal paint loss along the outer edge but overall very clean with outstanding display power. Sign is mounted in its original wood frame which also shows an excellent patina throughout with only minimal wear and light age chipping. A very rare chance at this scarce and unique piece of advertising from Polly Gasoline. Condition: (8.5+ & 8.0+). Dimensions: 61" X 24".
