Available here in this lot is a vintage steer head belt buckle and pin. This sterling silver belt buckle features a central steer head displayed on a bed of hand stamped designs with a gold colored floral design through the center. Above the steer head is the initials K.B. which most likely indicates the owner of the buckle. The steer head pin is accented with some stamped lines for detail and inside the ears it is slightly darkened for contrast. MAKER: The buckle is hallmarked LC with MEXICO AND ELIAD D. AWAR on sides of triangle next to it (stamped). There also appears to be another word on the 3rd side of the triangle, but it is difficult to read. See the pictures for details.
APPROX AGE: Vintage (meaning somewhere between the 1930s to 1970s).
SIZE: This buckle measures approximately 3 1/4 inches long by 2 1/8 inches wide and fits a 2 inch belt. The pin measures 2 1/2 inches wide at the widest point x 1 1/4 inches from top to bottom. The total weight for this item is 90.8 grams.
