Description
Rare 1758 Philadelphia Land Deed between John Redman (1722-1808) and Thomas Willing (1731- 1821) + James Humphreys ( 1720-1779). Large Vellum 30 inches x 32.5 inches. Red wax seals intact. Redman was a prominent Philadelphia Physician and one of the first at Pennsylvania hospital . Willing was the richest man in America and delegate to the Continental Congress. Humphreys was a Philadelphia Judge who was arrested in 1777 as a British Loyalist. Signed by Redman and twice by Humphreys as city judge and the property was in Society Hill area of Philadelphia.
