Description

This is a pair of switchmans lanterns. The first is a Dietz Vesta from the Delaware Lackawanna and Western. It is cast with D.L.& W.R.R. on the rim and also as a stamped equipment number of 9025. Plain clear cast corning CNX Dietz Vesta globe. Correct burner and twist off fount. Patent dates from 1927 to 1935. The second is an Adlake 250 Kero from the Delaware and Hudson railroad. Cast with D. & H. CO. on the chimney, it has patent dates of 1908, 1909, 1911, 1913, and 1922. Clear cast ADLAKE KERO globe, but it has a piece that has cracked off on the lower side. Correct burner and fount.
