Prussian officer's M1889 model infantry sword, 31 in. blade and 37 in. overall, with a black celluloid grip that is tightly wrapped with triple brass wire. Affixed to the grip is the royal cypher of Wilhelm II, also seen on the intricate brass handguard, displayed on the breast of the Prussian eagle wearing a crown, with filigree designs on the pommel. The straight blade bears no maker marks and remains rather clean. Lacking the scabbard. Overall, very good.
