Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Underglaze Red Mountain Porcelain Double Eared Zun Vase. Potted in a Zun shaped vase, thick and large, a drum abdomen, short cylindrical neck, a pair of decorative handles called ears, and raised on ring foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against red color, depicted of sampan boat sailing over peace Lishui river surround with tree, flowers bloom, rocky rock and mountain, all in salubrious landscape. Mountain is one of the eight trigrams in Feng Shui and Yi Jing. Of these Taishan is considered the most important and stones from the mountain were often placed in towns across China as a lucky charm.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
