Potted in a Zun shaped vase, thick and large, a drum abdomen, a pair of decorative handles called ears flanked on short cylindrical neck, and raised on round foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color, depicted of lotus flowers blooms interspersed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. Lotus is one of the most significant flowers in the Chinese culture. It symbolizes the holy seat of Buddha. Because the flower rises from the mud and blooms in exquisite beauty it symbolizes perfection and purity of both the heart and mind.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
