A Chinese Qianlong blue Zun porcelain Globular Vase. Large bulbous body fashioned with scrolling dragon cloud handles. Dragon is the symbol of the Emperor, the Son of Heaven, eternity, Yang and Yin, male vigor and fecundity. The outer surface of this pot is covered in various floral blooms all interconnected by scrolling vines. The color is balanced, elegant and exquisite. The whole piece is raised on a disk-shaped foot. The glaze terminates just before the end of the base revealing a dark charred clay. This piece displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the finely glazed exterior. Mark on base, a six blue underglazed seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
