A FINE LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GILT BRASS AND PORCELAIN CARRIAGE CLOCK
the corniche case with swing handle and push repeat button, the sides with blue porcelain panels in the Art Nouveau style, with a leaf and berry design flanking panels of flowers on a gilt ground, the dial with Roman numerals, the twin barrel movement with jewelled lever platform escapement striking on a coiled steel gong, the backplate numbered 4793, and marked 'PATENT SURETY ROLLER'
16.5cm high with handle up
In full working order, with winding key.
