Additionally, tipped onto the endpaper is a pink two-sided advertising sheet for this book 21.5x13 cm (8½x5¼"), which was published in two bindings: art cloth (as is this copy), and full morocco. Also, with inserted letter from James Hector, Director of the Colonial Museum of Wellington, at the start of Part II of the text (page size smaller than text block, and leaf very foxed). As issued?
