Mixed Group of Railroad Items - Steel Key, Buttons, Commemorative Coins, Photograph, and Sign A mixed group of items for various railroads including a Long Island double ring barrel steel key stamped LIRR in serif font on the front and 6108 on the back, showing moderate discoloration and wear at the bit. A 6" framed photograph of a Long Island Railroad wreck at Mattituck, Long Island dated 1903. Also includes a framed, labeled collection commemorating the first transcontinental rail/air service, with an embossed Pennsylvania keystone button, a Santa Fe button, TWA 40th Anniversary coin for Penn Central, a 4" x 3" brass pieces with locomotive and scenery for Pennsylvania Railroad Harnessing The Plane and The Iron Horse, a Santa Fe 1868 to 1968 coin, and a Santa Fe 1968 to 2068 coin. Group includes a St. Louis Southwestern Railway Cotton Belt Route White Only sign in a 12 1/2" x 6 1/4" frame, dated July 26, 1929. The sign is a reproduction / fantasy piece.
