Verso having the seal of Kunstinstitut für Porzellan-Malerei Merkel-Heine Wiesbaden (1875-1924) and #919 Bismark Arbeitszimmer. Descriptive text below describes the scene as Bismark in his study contemplating Emperor Willhelm I's death with the last letters received and the newspaper announcing his death. Incised KPM mark under scepter. Framed 18.5 X 14.5. Provenance: Property from the Estate of Drs. Richard and Catherine Paskowski, New City, NY
