Technique: Watercolored Pencil on Paper, mounted on Cardboard
Inscription: Lower right signed: "Hugo Havenith".
Date: c. 1914
Description: Beautiful depiction of a group of people with low, caricatured overdrawn features. In the front row some children in their best Sunday clothes can be seen, making partly happy partly sad faces. In the crowd in the background more children and also older persons are depicted.

Condition
Good condition. The paper is minimally discoloured, the pencil weakly rubbed in places. There are darkly oxidised, formerly white areas of colour in the children's faces.
