Native American, Southwestern United States, Arizona, Anasazi (Ancestral Puebloan), ca. 950 to 1200 CE. A fine example of a hemispherical bowl formed via the traditional Puebloan coil-and-scrape technique and adorned via the Reserve style black-on-white tradition. Sitting upon a round yet stable base with upward curving walls, the vessel's interior basin is adorned with a pattern of interlocking triangles with toothed edges surrounding a bare central circle at the bottom. The exterior is mostly left undecorated save for a singular, undulating striation forming a symbol that resembles "eRv." Size: 7.25" Diameter x 3" H (18.4 cm x 7.6 cm)

Professionally repaired and restored with repainting over break lines; all done very well and mostly difficult to notice. Chipping to rim, as well as some nicks and abrasions to surface, all commensurate with age. Otherwise, very nice presentation with good remaining pigments. Scattered earthen deposits to surface.
