Comprising two works by Arthur D. Marble (19th / 20th century), including one inscribed, “Dasystoma Pedicularia. B./ Gerardia Pedicularia. L./ Fern-leaved false foxglove/ Lousewort/ Feverweed/ Scrophulariaceae/ Figwort Family/ Mt. Vernon St., Lawrence./ Sept. 1917,” signed, “Arthur D. Marble del. et pxt.,” l.l., and the other inscribed, “Compositae/ Composite family/ Button snakeroot/ Blazing-Star/ Liatris squarrosa/ Perrenial herb/ So. Lawrence-plentiful/ Sept. 23-1906,” signed, “Arthur D. Marble del. et pxt.,” l.l., both matted and framed, the mats painted with insects; and two works, one depicting milkweed with insects, the other depicting a wild white rose, faintly signed or inscribed, l.r., both professionally matted and framed.
