An 8x50mmR (Mannlicher) 'M1895' straight-pull service carbine by Steyr, no. 1132H In standard service configuration, good condition overall, fully-matching serial numbers, the stock stamped 'OP' on the underside, the bore generally clean and bright 20in. barrel, recent London nitro reproof With an F.G.G.Y. 'M1895' NCO's stutzen bayonet stamped 5P B 778 with metal scabbard Footnotes: The M1895 was the final major iteration of the straight-pull system. Approximately 3½ million were produced and constituted the main service rifle of the Austro-Hungarian army throughout the first World War. The M95 was produced in three main variations; A rifle, a Stutzen and a Carbine, although throughout the first World War, multiple revisions were made to swap and change patterns between one another for differing regimental uses.
