Description

Very nice Richmond, Virginia Boyle and Gamble staff sword with star and CS in the guard in original brass mounted steel scabbard which was produced in Richmond or Kenansville NC. Still attached to the ring mount is an absolutely WONDERFUL brass attaching hook fashioned to look like a snake. I've seen the snake buckles, snakes in guard sword, but this is the first snake sword belt attachment I have seen. Really cool. Leather grip is worn and flaked. 100% original.
