Vintage Mid Century set of cutlery flatware: 31 piece Siam nickel bronze in the original solid wooden box, marked "Tiffany's Jewelry Bangkok, Thailand", 1950s. The set includes the box with red plush interior, one large 3-prong fork, one serving spoon, one large 2-prong fork, one large knife; two small 2-prong forks; and set for 8 consisting of small spoons, forks and knifes.

Bronze with genuine wood handles. Some tarnish on the bronze consisting with the age, very good condition.

Some evidence places the origins of the Siam [Thai] bronze flatware back as far as the 1930s, based on the marking "Siam," as Thailand was officially known until 1939, but the majority we see appear to date from the Vietnam Era. Such sets were marketed in Bangkok, Singapore and Hong Kong, widely purchased by U.S and other troops and sailors stationed in the area from the Korean War through to the end of the Vietnam War..5cm], no chips, very good/ fine condition.
