Vintage Mid-Century Modern ceramic bird egg cup, hand-made and hand-painted in Italy, c.1950s-60s.

The entire cup with the chicken is c.3.1/2" [8.6cm]; 3.1/4" tall [8.2cm]; the cup is c.2" [5cm] across at the top; one small chip [c.1/8"] on the rim of the cup [see photos]; a few dark spots on the bottom of the cup are imperfections [sand corns] in the glaze; no hairlines, no creases, very good condition.
