A Dalle de Verre Stained Glass Window, D'Ascenzo Studios, Philadelphia, First Half 20th Century. An abstract composition with a central dove, mounted in a later ebonized oak lightbox frame.
Dimensions: Frame 23 x 37in. Depth 6in.
Footnote: Produced by D'Ascenzo Studios between 1904 and 1959. This work has descended in the family of David Bramnick (1892-1959), D'Ascenzo Studios' head designer and painter who worked with the firm for 45 years following Nicola D'Ascenzo's death in 1954.
Provenance:
Estate of David Bramnick (1892-1959).
Thence by family descent to present owner.
