John Almon's uncommon compilation of papers relating to the beginning of the American Revolution, covering its origins from the Stamp Act to the Battles of Lexington and Concord. Often referred to by its running headline "Prior Documents," this was issued by Almon to accompany his annual periodical "Remembrancer, or Impartial Repository of Public Events," published from 1777-84.
