SHIPPING NOTES: Flat rate shipping prices are available for clothing, jewelry and smaller item lots in the November auction from our designated UPS Store appearing in your invoice. Some small items like tapes, DVDs and small books are 19.75 dollars; vinyl, magazines and very small framed items under 12in are 24.75 dollars while larger items such as smaller antiques and collectables such as vases and statues under 12in are 44.00 dollars. The UPS Store will ultimately determine the box size as there may be exceptions. If you purchase multiple lots they will attempt to combine them into the least expensive appropriate box and they will notify you if your purchase requires additional boxes. Pricing is for the Continental US only. Flat rate shipping includes pick up, packing and shipping. Insurance required over 100 dollars is 2.00 dollars per 100 dollars of value. For other objects and foreign shipments our standard Terms and Conditions apply however our same UPS Store handles those items as well. Allow approximately 2 to 4 weeks for the UPS quoting pickup and packing process prior to shipping as they will be dealing with 200 orders simultaneously. PROVENANCE: Estate of Irene Cara Escalera. Known professionally as Irene Cara, an Oscar, Grammy, Tony award winner. The multitalented singer, actress, musician and composer rose to international prominence with her starring role as Coco in the movie Fame which inspired a generation of performing arts academies, magnet schools and countless famous performers. Prior to Fame she was a child star as a recording artist and cast member of the Electric Company and she followed up her Fame stardom with the iconic song from Flashdance and an international touring career interspersed with Hollywood movie and television appearances. Irene semi-retired to Florida and continued developing musical projects privately from her home. All items in this auction were personally removed from her Largo, Florida residence by our staff. Some of the items when specifically noted have been identified as having been worn in various televised events while some others though unidentified were clearly part of her stage and touring ensam. Each lot comes with a Certificate of Authenticity authorized by her Estate Personal Representatives.
