Japanese Lacquer, Engraved Metal and Parcel-Gilt Trunk

With removable lid. Lined with Japanese woven silk textile.

15 3/4 x 24 3/4 x 17 1/4 in.

Condition

In generally good condition. Missing a few pieces of the locking mechanism, with some pieces loose in the trunk. The handles and other mounts with verdigris and missing gilding. Scattered losses to the lacquer. Scattered scuffs and nicks.
