A Federal Carved and Inlaid, Brass-Mounted Mahogany Tall Case Clock
Simon Willard, Early 19th Century
retains three brass ball-and-steeple finials, the painted sheet-iron dial depicting a gilt lady fishing in the moon-phase aperture, gilt scrolled spandrels, the dial inscribed Warranted for Sam Badlum / Simon Willard, the mounting frame impressed OSBORNE, the works, pendulum and weights appear to be original to the case.
Height 91 1/2 x width 19 3/4 x depth 10 inches.
