"Gone with the Wind" by Margaret Mitchell, First Edition published by the Macmillan Company, New York, December 1936 print [The book was first published in May 1936, then the May printing was recalled, and the first official printing issued in June 1936.
The facsimile [copy] of the first state dust jacket is protected by the mylar cover. Original hard boards, Confederate-gray cloth [some foxing: see photo]; ca. 6" x 8.1/2", ink written name ["Louise K. Wiedemann"] on the front endpaper, 1037 pages; a little soiling and wear [see photos]; very good condition.
