Simon Willard style mahogany veneered lighthouse clock, 20th Century. Glass dome over a replica movement with passing strike and moon hands. The copper painted dial is signed Simon Willard. The cylindrical case rests on an octagonal base set with a foliate wreath bronze mount. Height with dome 30 inches, diameter at base 9.75 in. Minor scratches and paint chips on right of dial. Provenance: From the collection of Rick Currier, longtime board of directors president for The Willard House and Clock Museum, Grafton Massachusetts. The clock is illustrated in Simon willard Patent Alarm Time Pieces, Paul J. Foley, see illustration.
