Description
East Asia, China, Ming Dynasty to early Qing Dynasty, ca. 16th to 17th century CE. A large and fine porcelain plate resting on a ring-form foot, the walls swelling gently upward creating a shallow basin. The surface is glazed in thick white, including the base - minimalistic and elegant. Size: 11.2" Diameter x 2.2" H (28.4 cm x 5.6 cm)

This piece has been tested using thermoluminescence (TL) analysis and has been found to be ancient and of the period stated. A full printed and bound report is available to the buyer upon request.

Provenance: ex-private Friday Harbor, Washington, USA collection, acquired prior to 2000
