Item Details
Description
Roman, Imperial period, ca. 1st to 2nd century CE. A petite yet charming gold ring with a piecrust bezel featuring a red glass intaglio of a man-faced bull striding left. Size of ring exterior: 0.7" L x 0.6" W (1.8 cm x 1.5 cm); of intaglio: 0.4" L x 0.3" W (1 cm x 0.8 cm); US ring size: 1.5; gold quality: 78.63% (equivalent to over 18 karats); weight: 0.9 grams
