Description
Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Chupicuaro, ca. 500 to 100 BCE. A hand-built pottery dish of broad form decorated with red and white linear decorations across the dark brown ground. The base of the vessel mirrors the upper vessel in both shape and adornment. Size: 7.3" L x 7.25" W x 5.5" H (18.5 cm x 18.4 cm x 14 cm)

Condition
Repairs to upper walls and midsection, with resurfacing and overpainting along most break lines. Abrasions and wear to pigment commensurate with age, with light pitting, and scattered earthen deposits. Nice preservation to original motifs.
